Anxiety Therapy for Residents of South Pasadena, FL

Welcome

South Pasadena has a residential, coastal-adjacent routine, with quick access to beach areas and the busier Gulf corridor. Daily life tends to include short drives that can still feel stressful due to bottlenecks, seasonal traffic, and limited route options. Quiet streets and condo living can feel soothing, yet anxiety can stick around in the body even when the environment feels calm.

For some, worry locks onto health, sleep, or aging concerns, then turns into checking habits and reassurance seeking. For others, anxiety shows up as isolation, staying home more than planned, or feeling uneasy about going out during peak tourist periods. Hurricane season adds another background hum: planning, monitoring updates, and bracing for disruption.

Therapy work here often focuses on lowering the body’s vigilance, reducing checking loops, and building a simple rhythm for sleep, movement, and connection, so daily life feels steadier without needing perfect conditions.

FAQ

How does online therapy work for someone in South Pasadena?

We meet through a secure video platform at a time fitting your schedule. You log in from wherever you have privacy, whether at home in South Pasadena or anywhere else in Florida. Sessions run 50 minutes and feel like a focused conversation. Many people in the St. Petersburg and Tampa Bay area prefer telehealth because there is no commute, no waiting room, and no disruption to their workday.

What types of anxiety do you work with?

I work with generalized anxiety, high-functioning anxiety, social anxiety, health anxiety, perfectionism, burnout, and nervous system dysregulation. Many clients in South Pasadena and the St. Petersburg and Tampa Bay area come in describing something like constant worry, physical tension, trouble sleeping, or a sense of being "always on." We figure out what your anxiety pattern looks like and build a plan from there.

Do you accept insurance for online therapy in Florida?

Yes. I am in-network with Aetna, Anthem, Blue Cross of Idaho, Cigna, Oscar, Oxford, Providence, Regence, UMR, and several other plans through Alma. Coverage and copays vary by plan, so I recommend checking your specific benefits before your first session. If your plan is not on the in-network list, I provide a superbill after each session so you are able to submit for out-of-network reimbursement. You are welcome to ask about insurance during the free consultation.
