Online Anxiety Therapy for Residents of Utah

Welcome

Are you looking for compassionate online therapy in Utah? When life throws unexpected challenges your way, it’s easy to feel lost and unsure of where to turn. At Inner Heart Therapy, I offer online therapy for residents across Utah, providing a compassionate, affirming, and confidential space where you can process your struggles and regain a sense of balance.

If you’re dealing with anxiety or LGBTQ+ identity concerns, I’m here to support you with warmth and understanding while we create meaningful solutions tailored to your journey.

As an ex-Mormon, I understand the complexities of questioning long-held beliefs, navigating family relationships, and redefining your identity outside of religious expectations. Whether you're processing faith transitions, setting new boundaries, or exploring what life looks like beyond the Church, I provide a supportive, non-judgmental space to help you understand it all. Healing from religious trauma and embracing your authentic self is possible, you don’t have to go through it alone.

Finding quality mental health care in Utah can be challenging, especially if you live in a rural area or have a packed schedule. Telehealth therapy removes the barriers of long commutes, waitlists, and limited local providers, ensuring you can access the care you need from the comfort of your home. Whether you're in Salt Lake City, Logan, or a remote town, online therapy brings expert support to you, on your terms.

You don’t have to navigate this alone, let’s take the first step toward healing together.

FAQ

Do you provide online therapy throughout Utah?

Yes. I am licensed in Utah and work with adults across the state through secure online sessions. As long as you are physically located in Utah at the time of your session and have a private space with a reliable internet connection, we are able to work together. Telehealth removes the geographic barrier entirely.

What types of anxiety do you treat for clients in Utah?

I work with generalized anxiety, high-functioning anxiety, social anxiety, health anxiety, perfectionism, burnout, and panic. Many clients across Utah describe a pattern of constant worry, physical tension, trouble sleeping, or a sense of being on high alert even when things are going well. We start where you are and build from there.

What is your approach to anxiety therapy?

I blend cognitive-behavioral strategies with nervous system regulation tools. CBT addresses the thinking side of anxiety, including worry loops, catastrophic thoughts, and avoidance patterns. Nervous system work addresses the body side, helping with tension, shallow breathing, restlessness, or chronic activation. Some clients also benefit from the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP), a listening-based program for calming the nervous system.
