What anxiety looks like in Ketchum

Anxiety here might sound like what if loops on a snowy drive up 75, tightness before a packed shift in town, or a late-night spiral about work, budget, or relationships once the season changes. It can show up as overthinking, body tension, snappishness, or that checked-out fog after too many long days. If you’re unsure whether this is anxiety or just a rough season, we’ll figure it out together and build a plan that fits life in Ketchum and Sun Valley.

How therapy helps

We’ll keep it practical and mountain-real. Together we’ll spot the loops your brain and body run under stress, then test small moves you can actually use on a Highway 75 commute, during peak season, or when you need quiet after a long day. I blend CBT skills with nervous-system work so you get both clearer thinking and steadier physiology. If you want body-based support, I also offer polyvagal-informed tools and the Safe and Sound Protocol. Sessions are online across Idaho, so you can meet from a private corner at home, your parked car near River Run, or wherever privacy is easiest.

LGBTQ+ affirming therapy in Ketchum

Seasonal life and close circles can make it tricky to be out how you want. This is a low-pressure space to talk gender, sexuality, dating, and work realities in Sun Valley life. LGBTQ+ affirming therapy that respects your pace and privacy.

FAQ

How do I get started with online anxiety therapy from Ketchum?

The first step is scheduling a free consultation through the website. During the brief call, we will talk about what is going on for you, how therapy might help, and whether we are a good fit. There is no commitment and no pressure. If we decide to work together, we schedule your first full session and go from there.

What does nervous system-focused therapy involve?

When anxiety lives in your body, talk alone does not always reach the part of your brain driving the response. Nervous system-focused therapy includes tools like breathwork, body awareness exercises, and the Safe and Sound Protocol. The goal is to help your body recognize safety is available, not by forcing calm, but by building the capacity to settle on your own over time.

Do you accept insurance for online therapy in Idaho?

Yes. I am in-network with Aetna, Anthem, Blue Cross of Idaho, Cigna, Oscar, Oxford, Providence, Regence, UMR, and several other plans through Alma. Coverage and copays vary by plan, so I recommend checking your specific benefits before your first session. If your plan is not on the in-network list, I provide a superbill after each session so you are able to submit for out-of-network reimbursement. You are welcome to ask about insurance during the free consultation.

I support adults in Ketchum, Sun Valley, and across central Idaho. Learn more about my virtual anxiety therapy services across the state here.

For urgent mental health support in the United States, call or text 988, or go to the nearest emergency room. I’m not an emergency service.
