Online Anxiety & LGBTQ+-Affirming Therapy in Utah
Welcome
I provide online therapy for adults throughout Utah who are dealing with anxiety, overthinking, perfectionism, LGBTQ+ identity concerns, faith transitions, and the effects of growing up within high-pressure religious expectations.
My work centers on anxiety therapy and LGBTQ+-affirming therapy, with a particular understanding of how anxiety, identity, family expectations, and religion sometimes overlap.
As an ex-Mormon therapist, I understand some of the complexities that come with questioning long-held beliefs, redefining your identity outside of the Church, changing relationships with family, or figuring out what you still believe. Therapy gives you space to work through those questions without pressure to return to a belief system or leave one behind.
I offer secure online sessions throughout Utah, including the Salt Lake City, Ogden, and Provo-Orem areas, as well as rural communities where specialized or LGBTQ+-affirming care may be harder to find.
You will receive a response in two business days.
LGBTQ+ Therapy, Faith Transitions, and Identity in Utah
For some LGBTQ+ adults in Utah, anxiety is tied to more than work stress or an overactive mind. Questions about sexuality, family relationships, religious expectations, belonging, and what happens when your identity no longer fits the path you were given can all become part of the picture.
As an ex-Mormon and LGBTQ+-affirming therapist, I work with adults who are sorting through those intersections without assuming what healing is supposed to look like.
If you're a gay man dealing with anxiety, shame, relationship patterns, family expectations, or the effects of growing up in an environment where parts of yourself did not feel safe to express, you can also learn more about therapy for gay men.

Different corners of Utah carry different pressures, so each region has a page of its own. Utah County readers, students included, have a dedicated page for therapy around Provo and Orem. Further north, one page covers anxiety support from Ogden through Cache Valley, rotating shift schedules included.
