Online Anxiety Therapy Across Seven States

Welcome

Multi-state online anxiety therapy with flexible, accessible telehealth across seven states.

Getting help for anxiety shouldn’t depend on where you live.

Inner Heart Therapy offers online anxiety therapy across multiple states, so you can find expert support without worrying about long drives, waitlists, or moving to access care.

Whether you live in a big city or a small mountain town, anxiety can make everyday life harder racing thoughts, tension, and exhaustion can show up anywhere. My online sessions are designed to help you feel calmer, more present, and supported no matter your location.

Finding a therapist who treats anxiety as more than a checklist of symptoms is not always simple, especially across seven states with seven different sets of insurance rules. Being licensed in Idaho, Utah, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Delaware, and South Carolina means you do not have to choose between a therapist who happens to live nearby and one who understands anxiety at a nervous system level. You get the same evidence based approach, the same nervous system informed framework, and the same person session after session, no matter which of these states you call home.

How Location Coverage Works Here

Below, you will find a page for each state, and inside each state, pages organized by region rather than by every single town. A region page like the Denver area or the Salt Lake City area covers the surrounding cities and suburbs together, since the pressures behind anxiety tend to look similar across a metro area rather than changing block by block. If your specific town is not named on its own, check the region page for your part of the state. You are still covered.

Many of the more rural counties across these seven states have fewer mental health providers available than the population needs, which is part of why telehealth matters here. Being able to reach a licensed therapist without driving hours each way often determines whether someone gets help at all, well beyond simple convenience.

Frequently Asked Questions About Online Anxiety Therapy

Do I need to live near your office to work with you?

No. All sessions are held online, so you can meet with me from anywhere within the states where I’m licensed, Idaho, Utah, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Delaware, and South Carolina.

Online therapy makes it possible to access anxiety treatment even if you live hours from a city, have a full schedule, or simply prefer the comfort and privacy of home. As long as you’re physically located in one of these states at the time of your session, we can work together.

Is online therapy as effective as in-person sessions?

Yes. Research consistently shows that telehealth therapy can be just as effective as in-person therapy for managing anxiety, panic, and stress.
In many cases, people find it easier to open up online because they feel more relaxed in their own space. You’ll still get the same evidence-based approaches I use in person, like CBT, polyvagal-informed regulation, and the Safe and Sound Protocol but with added flexibility and accessibility.

How private and secure are online sessions?

Your privacy is always protected. I use a HIPAA-compliant video platform designed specifically for mental health care. No session recordings are stored, and all communication is encrypted.

If you share your living space, we can work together to find a setup that feels private, many clients meet from their car, a quiet room, or even outside on a walk with headphones. You deserve a space that feels safe and confidential.

Can I continue therapy if I move to another state?

If you move to another state where I’m licensed, we can continue therapy without interruption.

If your new location is outside those states, I can help you transition smoothly by connecting you with trusted providers in your new area. The goal is to make sure your care remains consistent and supported, wherever life takes you.

What if I’ve never tried therapy before?

That’s completely okay. Many of my clients start therapy when they realize they’ve been managing anxiety alone for too long.

We’ll go at your pace, no pressure, no jargon. The first session is about getting to know what’s been weighing on you and identifying small, practical ways to help you feel steadier. You don’t need to have everything figured out before you start.

Do you offer LGBTQ+ affirming therapy in all licensed states?

Yes. Every session, no matter where you live, is fully affirming and inclusive. You’ll never need to educate me about your identity or minimize parts of yourself to be understood.

Whether you want to explore gender, sexuality, or simply have a space where nothing about you feels “too much,” this is a supportive environment built on respect, understanding, and authenticity.
